This new version of the API for graphics cards again promises more impressive 3D effects and performance. And as with all new versions of DirectX, there is new hardwarerequired to all new possibilities to use. While Nvidia is still shrouded in silence DirectX11 on its strategy, today AMD first with suitable cards on the market. The ATI RadeonHD 5870 and HD 5850 are set based on the Cypress chip and offer not onlycompatibility with the new API, above all, much better performance than theirpredecessors.
